These Broadmoor vases were grooved, or ringed, as they were thrown on the wheel. Jonathan Hunt threw and incised them in Denver.

Bottoms
Two of his vases with small bottoms have only weak Denver ink stamps.
Hunt's Incised J and H
As an aside Hunt's incised J often differs. Some are in cursive; many others printed. (His incised H differs similarly.)
This time only our ruffled vase has the cursive J and H.
