Cecil
Jones founded La Mirada Pottery in Los Angeles in 1935, after he left
Broadmoor Pottery in Colorado Springs. In 1939, he sold out to Thomas
Hamilton who renamed the business American Ceramic Products. Jones
stayed on as plant superintendent until his retirement in
1945.
Pictured
are a few La Mirada wall plaques. They are easy to find and affordable.
They
have backside holes that are nice and stout for hanging.
